Let’s start things off properly – I love a proper cup of tea & a slice of cake! There, thats’ the important stuff sorted.
I’m often wearing Doc Martens & have a few tattoos, I’m a wife, a mum & a staffy owner.
I adore what I do & the business that I’ve created! I get to capture memories for you to look back on for years to come, along with supporting business owners, to provide them with images to promote what they in turn love to do.
My aim is to put you at ease in front of the camera & for you to get the best out of your session no matter what it is.
No session is ever the same, & that is something that I’m extremely proud of!
Where it all started
I’ve had a camera for as long as I can remember, in fact sorting through some bags at my parents recently we found my first one from when I was about 5 or maybe 6 years old! I’m pretty sure it counts as an antique! I’m going to buying a roll of film and see if it still works!
I’ve always loved the idea of keeping memories, whether it’s been holiday’s, days out, or family celebrations – the ability to look at a picture & remember the feelings that go along with that picture is a big thing for me. Fast forward to when our daughter was born I’ve wanted to capture those memories for her to look back on as well.
My background has always been people based, working for a major electronic retail store as a weekend team member, to working in a call centre (& for those of you that know me will know I like to chat, & am pretty good at it too!) to working in recruitment, estate agency & client relationship management – all of my roles have been people orientated! When I was made redundant from recruitment it was a friend who suggested that I give this a go full time & I love it!
On a personal note, I love landscape, floral & wildlife photography, the sitting quietly & observing for something to appear. I had the opportunity to photograph RHS Chelsea & it was an absolute joy!
My passion and dedication
Photographing people is a natural progression for me with my background, i’m naturally inquisitive & I love to people watch. Every conversation I have with any new client always starts with a cuppa, hopefully creating a relaxed atmosphere to find out about how I can help you and where my services fit it. No matter if it’s a wedding enquiry or a business shoot – I want to know about the people I photograph.
